Acacia Systems

Acacia’s core products Onyx, Cortex and Reflex support military operations across the sea, air and land domains. 

Onyx 

Onyx is an advanced undersea sensor data fusion platform which delivers full-state solutions (range, bearing, course and speed) by fusing data from multiple sensors and/or multiple platforms. Its advanced algorithms deliver increased probability and range of detection, more accurate tracking of targets and greatly reduced False Alarm Rate. Deploying Onyx across uncrewed surface vehicles delivers a cost effective persistent undersea surveillance capability, that has been developed in collaboration with the Royal Australian Navy. 

Cortex 

Cortex is a Command and Control platform that has been developed to support operations across multiple domains. Cortex powers the mission management capability for Australian Maritime Safety Authority’s (AMSA) four Challenger 604 jet aircraft and the Australian Border Force’s fleet of DASH-8 aircraft and ground station. Cortex also underpins an advanced Counter UAS system developed in collaboration with the Australian Army. 

Reflex 

Reflex is a Command decision analytics tool which captures, records and references all data both geospatially and temporally. The data can then be replayed either instantaneously or post-mission to reconstruct and analyse events and incidents for tactical development, operational analysis or training. Reflex has been deployed to Australian submarines.

• Acacia’s products are typically TRL 8-9 with the software deployed in aircraft, crewed and uncrewed surface warships, submarines and army vehicles
