COMPANY OVERVIEW
How do you train against a drone threat? How do you train against a swarming drone threat? How does everyone in your organisation qualify on a counter drone system in a repeatable and standardised manner as you do with a personal rifle? Boresight provides Counter small Unmanned Aerial System (C-sUAS) threat emulation for Range Training and dynamic operational Red-Teaming activities. Boresight achieves this through the use of our sovereign manufactured and low-cost aerial target platforms. Boresight is currently providing C-sUAS threat emulation in Australia, North America and Europe.
Boresight’s expertise is in providing a range of sophisticated swarming capable, low-cost aerial targets operated in a variety of methods to provide a diverse and repeatable C-sUAS threat emulation. Boresight has developed a series of different quadcopter and fixed wing aerial target platforms that are designed to be expendable if required. As the global threat of small and cheap drones continues to evolve, Boresight is continuing to adapt to these threats through continual capability development of both ground control software and new aerial target platforms
PRODUCTS
Boresight Swarming Capability:
- Boresight’s swarming capability enables a single operator utilising Boresight’s Ground Control Station (GCS) and operational flight software to control multiple aerial target platforms. Boresight swarming capability provides a cost-effective swarming threat emulation for a range of C-sUAS training activity requirements. With the flexibility to conduct both repeatable and ad-hoc/dynamic flight profiles, Boresight provides a professional and tailors C-sUAS training capability.
Raider Quadcopter:
- Boresight’s Raider product is a cost-effective yet highly capable quadcopter aerial target, emulating a commercial camera drone threat such as a DJI Phantom 4 or DJI Mavic. The Raider quadcopter was developed from the ground up to emulate all the required characteristics of a commercial camera drone threat, as seen in the Middle East and more recently in the Ukraine.
BF150 Fixed Wing Loitering Munition:
- The BF150 is a Group 1 fixed-wing Unmanned Aerial Target (UAT) designed to emulate the size and flight characteristics of loitering munitions. The BF150 is operated through Boresight’s proprietary ground control software which facilitates flight control and mission planning of simple initial training serials through to complex C-UAS penetration testing serials.
Boresight C-sUAS Training and Red Teaming:
- Through Boresight’s unique swarming capable GCS software, Boresight provides a market leading C-sUAS training capability to both Military and Law Enforcement Agency (LEA) customers. Our C-sUAS threat emulation capability can be either provided directly to a customer or combined with a C-sUAS weapon system to then provide a customer a complete C-sUAS Training capability packaged as one product.
- Every weapon system in the Military (and LEA) the world over has a dedicated and purposely designed training target and training course, C-sUAS is no different. Boresight provides these capabilities to the C-sUAS market with its GCS software capability that allows customers to conduct basic through to advanced C-sUAS training with any detection/effector system. Tailored initial operator training for a new weapons system is crucial to any system becoming operational and an effective tool in the defence against UAS. Boresight can not only achieve this, but with our GCS software we can template the tailored initial operator training into mission packages for export to any location. This allows displaced units of the same organisation to conduct a standardised initial operator training course on a common weapon system.
- Boresight’s Red-Teaming capability offers customers a field operational, scenariobased C-sUAS threat emulation which can be as complex as required. From a single quadcopter aerial target, through to a mixed swarm of fixed-wing and quadcopter aerial targets, Boresight can provide a ‘next-gen’ sUAS threat for any customer in any location.
AVAILABILITY AND SUPPORT
Boresight and its international partners provide comprehensive C-sUAS threat emulation services for C-sUAS activities across the world. Boresight’s international partners can provide the entire range of Boresight aerial target platforms, they are also qualified drone pilots in their respective regions which allows them to support any activity. As part of this service, Boresight and its international partners work with customers to create mission plans and test serials that meet a customer’s specific requirements and desired outcomes. This can be specific to training, demonstration, testing, certification or validation activities
